There might be some clues in the trailer indicating what the story is about as well. However, my favorite parts about “Sonic Frontiers” are its music and over-the-top cinematics. The Starfall Islands feature gorgeous and smooth piano melodies that make exploring them feel meditative.
There is just not much to do, or see, especially when considering how long you wait around getting ready to do nothing. What we realized with these classic gaming franchises, is that Sonic will never be shut down, at least in the near future. The market still exists and the fact that the game expanded to other media helps a lot for games that do not necessarily have the best track record of good games. Sonic Frontiers is going to be released in November of this year, and we can probably expect new games in the future. Another platform game on this list follows Sonic in stopping his nemesis Doctor Eggman from enslaving an alien race.

Unfortunately, this laziness is also present in the level design because most are a copy-and-paste job from previous 3D games. It’s a double-edged sword because it makes the stages fun to play through at the cost of unoriginality. However, if you’re not familiar with the older games, this probably won’t be an issue. Thankfully, not only did the marketing greatly improve but so did my own general feelings.
