“Let’s unite and fight Early pregnancy”, Kingi says

Kilifi governor Amason Jefa Kingi has called on the community to unite and fight early Pregnancy in Kilifi.
Kingi who was accompanied by several Kilifi dignitaries said recent statistics illustrates arise in the cases of early pregnancy which has led to the existence of school dropouts.
Addressing Malindi residents on Thursday during the commemoration of the International Women’s Day, Kingi urged childeren’s department in Kilifi to deal without fear or favour with all cases involving child abuse especially gender based violence.
“Early Pregnacy has led to deterioration of education levels in this county, it’s now time to merge and fight this problem for the betterment of our next generation,” said Kingi
Same sentiments were raised by Malindi Member of Parliament Aisha Jumwa who said there has been a tendency of in-house resolutions which has led to the rise of early pregnancy cases all over Kilifi County.
