Lulu FM stands on three pillars; that is a) Evangelism, b) Empowerment and c) Entertainment. On Evangelism this month we happened to visit ACK St. Philips, Kakuyuni where we had a great time with the youths of the church.
The theme for the occasion was, We are entitled to God’s precious blessings and our very own news presenter Hamisi kombe ministered.
Kombe broke it down to, ‘3 ways to sustain precious blessings.
- Knowledge of the word (Joshua 1:8) Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
- Obedience (Isaiah 1:19) If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land;
- Persistence (Judges 15:15-17) Finding a fresh jawbone of a donkey, he grabbed it and struck down a thousand men. Then Samson said,“With a donkey’s jawbone I have made donkeys of them.[a]With a donkey’s jawbone I have killed a thousand men.” When he finished speaking, he threw away the jawbone; and the place was called Ramath Lehi.
(Genesis 26:18-22)Isaac reopened the wells that had been dug in the time of his father Abraham, which the Philistines had stopped up after Abraham died, and he gave them the same names his father had given them. 19 Isaac’s servants dug in the valley and discovered a well of fresh water there. 20 But the herders of Gerar quarreled with those of Isaac and said, “The water is ours!” So he named the well Esek,[a] because they disputed with him. 21 Then they dug another well, but they quarreled over that one also; so he named it Sitnah.[b] 22 He moved on from there and dug another well, and no one quarreled over it. He named it Rehoboth,[c] saying, “Now the Lord has given us room and we will flourish in the land.”
